The inaugural exhibition at Sculpture Park Wesenberg presents highlights of various  collections of Australian Indigenous art: Traditional and contemporary bark paintings from  Arnhem Land Art as well as works of Torres Strait Islander Art will honour the establishment  of a permanent Australian Indigenous art centre at Bei Wu promoting the Australian  Indigenous people and their art in Germany. To highlight the special occasion, the Composer  in Residence of the Peter Wilmot Thompson Stiftung, Sadie Harrison, was commissioned to  create a special piece of music which is to be given its first performance at the opening  event on 24 June by the Orchestra in Residence of the Foundation, Concerto Brandenburg  Berlin. The Australian Indigenous art exhibition and Sculpture Park Wesenberg’s other art  works and archives are open to the public until the end of September 2017.
